Join us for a bush walk through Whites Hill Reserve. We have two walks per month and always welcome new walkers! It’s slow-paced and we stop regularly to admire our surrounds.
Second Sunday of each month
- 7-9am (8-10am in colder months).
- We meet near the public toilets, near the kids playground, opposite the football shed. Entry via Boundary Rd. Please note that on the walk of Sun 14th October, there is a football carnival on at Whites Hill, so on this day we’ll be changing location to the Jones Rd entrance.
This walk is still regularly called ‘Pat’s Walk for Pleasure’. Pat was hosting it for 20 years. It’s followed by morning tea so we’d love it if you could RSVP to email@example.com or Heather 0410 840 343. But if you don’t get to RSVP because it’s a last minute decision to come along – don’t worry, just turn up – we always have enough to share.
Next walks: Sun 14 October, 7-9am (meeting at Jones Rd entrance due to football carnival at Whites Hill sports ground). Sun 11 November, 7-9am.
Fourth Sunday of each month
- Always 8am-9am.
- Meet at reserve entrance near corner of Jones Rd and Kildare St, Carina.
Just one hour and no morning tea at this one. So there’s no need to RSVP.
Sun 23 September, 8-9am. Sun 28 October, 8-9am. The start time of this walk does not change in colder/warmer months of year.
Wear: a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
If you’re bringing your dog with you please always keep it on a lead, pick up after it and ensure it stays to the path.
We regularly see koalas on these walks!
