Join us for a bush walk through Whites Hill Reserve. We have two walks per month and we always welcome new walkers! The walks are slow-paced and we stop regularly to admire our surrounds.
Second Sunday of each month
- 7-9am (8-10am in cooler months).
- We meet near the public toilets, near the kids playground, opposite the football shed. Entry via Boundary Rd.
This walk is still regularly called ‘Pat’s Walk for Pleasure’. Pat was hosting it for 20 years. It’s followed by morning tea so we’d love it if you could RSVP to b4c@bulimbacreek.org.au or Heather 0410 840 343. But if you don’t get to RSVP because it’s a last minute decision to come along – don’t worry, just turn up – we always have enough to share.
Next walks: Sun Feb 11, 7-9am and Sun Mar 11, 7-9am.
Fourth Sunday of each month
- Always 8am-9am.
- Meet at reserve entrance near corner of Jones Rd and Kildare St, Carina.
Just an hour and no morning tea afterwards at this one. So there’s no need to RSVP.
Next walks: We don’t do this walk in December (as it would fall on Christmas Eve).
Sun 25 Feb, 8-9am and Sun 25 Mar, 8-9am
Bring: water
Wear: a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
If you’re bringing your dog with you please always keep it on a lead, pick up after it and ensure it stays to the path.
We regularly see koalas on these walks!
