Dream River calendar 2010 available now
Bulimba Creek Catchment Committee is proudly presenting the 2010 Dream River calendar - an art project that involves schools from Brisbane, the Gulf of Carpentaria, France and Thailand. Children aged between 6 and 12 attending the participating schools have explored their river, wetland or creek. They investigated their ecological and cultural aspects and expressed these through a work of art. The paintings have then been collated in a colourful inspiring calendar for 2010. This is not a contest but a way of engaging children with their natural environment. B4C seeks to create a "Sense of Place" - the feeling of belonging to a natural place and it belonging to you. This is the second year for the Dream River calendar and it has been kindly sponsored by Brisbane City Council and the Bulimba Creek Environment Fund through our members and friends.
Calendars are for sale now!
