Connecting habitats and communities through a web of green
Introducing B4C
Founded in 1997, Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee Inc. (B4C) will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027. B4C is a community catchment and Landcare organisation working to protect and restore the Bulimba Creek catchment. Our work is supported by volunteers, members and partner organisations. Membership starts from $11 a year for individuals and families.
Our qualified Landcare Services Team operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise, with all profits reinvested into environmental and community projects. We also operate the B4C Sustainability Centre in Carindale, home to our native nursery and community garden, and coordinate more than 50 community events each year.
The Bulimba Creek Environment Fund supports endangered species surveys, youth engagement through Intrepid Landcare, weed management and revegetation projects. B4C also owns and manages two Nature RefugesโMount Elliott and Mount BarneyโYamahra Creekโwhich protect important wildlife habitat and biodiversity.
