The Perfect Hollow | By Cate Storey & Sarah Matsuda

$25.00 Incl GST

Great Gliders are uniquely Australian, gum-leaf eating, fluffy, gliding marsupials that live in hollows in tall eucalypt trees. The Perfect Hollow is a fun, rhyming story that follows one Greater Glider’s search for the perfect hollow, with the scary, hairy and amusing adventures along the way.

The endangered Greater Glider is just one of over 100 Australian mammal species that use tree hollows for homes. Tree hollows also provide homes for over 90 Australian reptiles and over 30 Australian frog species. More than one 100 Australian birds nest and raise young in tree hollows.

Designed primarily to be read aloud to children, The Perfect Hollow will also delight older siblings, parents and grand-parents. Both adults and children can learn from the range of wildlife, annotated with their common and scientific names, hiding in tree hollows at the end of the book.
