Join us for a bush walk through Whites Hill Reserve. We have two walks per month and always welcome new walkers! It’s slow-paced and we stop regularly to admire our surrounds.
COVID-19: We are practicing physical distancing on these walks.
Second Sunday of each month
- 7-9am (note change in time, is 8-10am in cooler months).
- Meeting near the public toilets, near the kids playground, opposite the football shed. Entry via Boundary Rd. (Please check here beforehand for meeting spot – if there’s a sports carnival at Whites Hill we change it to the Jones Rd entrance due to parking issues.)
This walk is still regularly called ‘Pat’s Walk for Pleasure’. Pat hosted it for 20 years. This walk normally includes morning tea but due to COVID-19, this part of the event is on hold.
Next walks: Sun 14th March, 2021, 7-9am. Sun 11th April, 2021, 8am-10am.
Fourth Sunday of each month
- Always 8am-9am.
- Meet at reserve entrance near corner of Jones Rd & Kildare St, Carina.
Just one hour and no morning tea at this one. So there’s no need to RSVP.
Sun 28th March, 2021, 8am-9am. Sun 25th April, 2021, 8am-9am.
The start time of this walk does not change in colder/warmer months of year.
Wear: a hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
If you’re bringing your dog with you please always keep it on a lead, pick up after it and ensure it stays to the path.
