The Sustainability Centre is being developed as an educational, community based centre for interactive, environmental learning. It aims to inspire through hands-on activities, empowering people to ask “what can I do for the environment?”
What You Will Find at the Centre:
Nursery
Volunteers work 3 days a week, doing seed propagation, cuttings, seed collection, tending stock, selecting orders.
Community Garden
Heritage poultry displays – New Hampshires, Silkies, Buff Sussex – all breeding!
Native revegetation areas
Water recycling and water efficiency signage
Photovoltaic cells – educating for a renewable energy future
Artwork for environmental awareness
Sensory Garden
Leah’s Trail – follow the path to different sections of the Centre

Small bird and reptile habitat garden
Nestboxes for microbat, lorikeet and rosellas

Our online store has items such as bags, yoga mat bags, cutlery wraps and more.

Opening Hours:
OFFICE: 7.30am – 3pm: Weekdays.
NURSERY: 7.30 to 2 pm Tues and Wed; 7.30 to 12 Friday. Open to B4C Members, bushcare groups and volunteers.
