Do your children have a passion for Australian wildlife and a creative flair? Join us for a morning of creativity and fun with local educator Gary King, as part of the Australian Conservation Foundation’s “Wild At Art” contest.
The Griffith branch of the Australian Conservation Foundation is hosting a local version of their national “Wild At Art” contest. Children aged 5 to 12 are invited to submit an original piece of art depicting one of Australia’s many threatened plant or animal species.
The event will start with an informative session about local threatened species, followed by an engaging game where children—and any willing adults—can role-play as local animals trying to survive in the city. After morning tea, participants can explore various art media to create their artwork.
Note: Art materials and light morning tea included. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
