Hair comb – recycled plastic (galaxy zero)

This small hair comb is handy to keep in your pocket or wallet as well as a great conversation starter about recycled plastic. This comb is from the ‘galaxy zero’ colour range, with each one varying slightly in patterns and colouring.

The plastic in these combs was collected, cleaned and sorted by volunteers and then creatively and carefully re-purposed by Zero Plastics Australia.

The comb is 7cm by 4cm and was made using approximately 8 bottle tops. They’re good on fine hair! Or, alternatively you could even use them as a beard or pet comb!

Each Australian generates an average of 130kg of waste per year, with 84% of that going directly into landfill – lets change that! We must recycle more of what is out there, rather than producing more.
