A baby koala, about 6 months old, was found curled up in the midst of our planting site at Salvin Creek, Carina Heights.
The Green Army team were at the site for routine maintenance. There was no sign of the mother in the surrounding trees.
B4C Operations Manager, Stefan, was notified and he went to retrieve the baby. It was very cold, so it was wrapped in a towel and the Koala Ambulance was called. It will be taken to the Daisy Hill Koala Centre for rehabilitation.
