Whites Hill Reserve Precinct Landscape Plan

Whites Hill Landscape PlanThe Whites Hill Precinct Landscape plan aims to guide the recreation of wildlife corridors and habitat suitable for movement of Squirrel Gliders ‘Petaurus norfolcensis’ through the urban matrix of houses and roads.

We have sent this proposal to Brisbane City Council and opposition. We have received a commitment from Labor for funding and an expression of interest from Councillor Ian McKenzie. We look forward to being able to take it to the next stage.

Environment is the key focus of this Plan, however, building and maintaining long term financial and community commitment requires identification of business opportunities and community benefits derived from habitat restoration.

It was prepared by Michael Fox (Project Director, Pollinator Link) and Wayne Cameron (Catchment Manager, B4C).
