The Compton Road wildlife overpass at Karawatha Forest in Brisbane is described as “ridiculously successful” by Griffith University’s Professor Darryl Jones. It’s being used as a guide by other countries. Australia still has only 5 fauna overpasses. Very few compared to France’s 380.
We're holding a clean-up event this Friday morning at the Gibson Island Rehabilitation Project site, Murarrie. Thanks to flood relief funding from Department of Environment & Science. We're also rescheduling our Visy-sponsored planting there - date TBC soon. #IndustrialLandcarepic.twitter.com/W3zvGqLPo7
@PaulMeekPerth This is down the road from my place. Bulimba Creek is where the road bridge is in the background. The green and blue sign is where the bike path is and start of my regular parkrun. pic.twitter.com/11I68PXP5S
Happy, or rather concerned, Wild Kola Day. Thanks to everyone who helps protect habitat - whether it’s putting pressure on politicians, fighting bad development, doing bushcare or spreading the word about the issues. #wildkoaladaypic.twitter.com/ZE8SYAnhIf
