Japanese students visit

West Moreton Landcare Group president Bob Hampson has been working with a group of Japanese agriculture and horticulture students through University of Queensland.

Japanese studentsBob arranged for the students to visit Queensport Rocks Park at Murarrie and the Oxbow at Hemmant for them to see the work that Bulimba Creek catchment and Brisbane Catchments Network have done to transform these areas.

The students will be returning in November to do some weed control and ecological tour to experience more of our natural areas.
